फिल्म का second half आते-आते Bollywood पूरी तरह अपने comfort zone में आ जाता है-

आज OTT audience बोलेगी — “ये सब एक ही फिल्म में?”
लेकिन उस वक्त audience बोली — “Interval के बाद असली मज़ा आ रहा है!”

क्योंकि ये फिल्म हमें याद दिलाती है कि Cinema कभी-कभी reality नहीं, romantic exaggeration होता है। Songs सिर्फ़ filler नहीं, storytelling tool होते थे। और Rajesh Khanna का charm camera से नहीं, screen से बाहर निकल आता था।
मेरे जीवन साथी perfect film नहीं है, लेकिन ये उस दौर की perfect feeling है — जहां प्यार थोड़ा ज़्यादा था, आंसू खुले थे, और background में Kishore Kumar गा रहा था।
और सच कहें तो — कभी-कभी logic से ज़्यादा, यही feeling चाहिए होती है।
